Don’t try to talk me out of the cigarette, I already smoked it, well half of it anyways. Preferably only answers from those who have quit smoking or gone through what I am. I quit cold turkey by the way.

Well we have been told by two doctors that yes completely quit where as 2 others have said no just cut way way back because now that she is 20 weeks along the effects of quitting could be even more damaging to the baby. I just need to get more of a majority opinion. Most of all though i want to find out which really is worse!

I know your supposed to stop when you up the dose, but that was a week ago for me and I’ve only dropped off a little bit. Has it taken anyone around a month or two, even longer?
You were able to quit after one day?

For those of you who have successfully quit smoking, how did you do it? Gum? Patch? Hypnotism? Cold Turkey? etc etc etc. My boy is finally serious about trying to quit, so I want to help him as much as possible, all input is welcome!

What is it that makes it difficult exactly? I don’t mean to sound stupid or put any smokers off but I really don’t know…I’ve never been addicted to anything.

I don’t want to consume the chemicals in the products that are available on the market today. I eat healthy, am getting into the exercise routine but I need to quit and it’s difficult trying cold turkey.
