To be honest, the physical part of not smoking does not seem to have changed since I quit two years ago. However, the mental aspect is great. It was so humilating, ugly, stinky, and embarassing to smoke. The religous aspect truly wore on me. There is not a day that has gone by that I do not thank our Lord for removing the evils that caused me to smoke.
