I have smoked for like 7 years now and quit 3 weeks ago and have not coughed anything up. People have said that when they quit they have coughed up nasty stuff and it was clearing out their lungs but i have not coughed anything up so how do i know my lungs are cleaning themselves out?

For you to quit it might not be as immediate for you to quit it might not be as others otherwise your lungs will just naturally cleanse themselves slowly.
